New Video Clips & Collections this Spring

You searched; we listened! We’ve added three new collections to our video clips for you to use in your next music video.

Analog Distortion

Analog Distortion combines static and dot pixel patterns with authentic glitch effects for footage that’s overflowing with energy. We love how visually compelling the typography and bursts of bright, bold colours look on the flickering, pixelated background. For this collection, the creator used analog and circuit bent video hardware with zero digital input to create the feedback and distorted visuals. We recommend trying Analog Distortion with fast-tempo, electronic music or slow, ambient tracks for optimal results. Try it with our FX Pusher, VHS Vision or Sonic Glitch video editing styles to create even more high energy and intense visuals.

Behind the Scenes—To create the horizontal and vertical black bars, this footage was filmed with a 4K camera on an old-school TV set in pitch black!

Planets

Bring your fans on a journey that’s simply out of this world with our new Planets collection. This cinematic footage features breathtaking animations of starscapes, planets, galaxies and blackholes, visualised in 3D. Inspired by Sci Fi blockbusters and space operas, our Planets collection is sure to make your audience go starry-eyed! We recommend using this collection with electronic, EDM, chill, hip hop and classical music genres. Our Planets collection works well with any video editing style, so don’t be afraid to experiment for a unique music video.

Florals

If you’re looking for stunning, experimental footage to match your original music video, then our Florals collection is for you.

Featuring decorative digital flowers, this 3D animated collection was developed using unconventional techniques for a highly artistic and abstract look. The clips combine the beauty of nature and floral imagery with innovative and animated painting resulting in soft, dreamy visuals. Our Floral collection uses a rich, deep colour scheme from saturated golds to dark reds and greens. We recommend using this collection with our Vertical Grid and Cinematic video editing styles. This footage compliments clips from other experimental and nature collections, so try a combination for a unique music video.

No footage? No problem!

At Rotor, there are thousands of beautifully-filmed clips with footage we’ve commissioned exclusively for our Rotor users. Although finding stock video is easy when you’re an independent artist, finding high-quality stock footage isn’t. At Rotor, we aim to make it as easy as possible for you to find the right visuals to showcase your song.
